About Us

Welcome to Fleur De Junk, an upcycled clothing and art company that works to turn old, "ugly" things into beautiful things. What started as a hobby has now grown into a business that shares reborn items with others, as well as a different perspective of beauty. At Fleur De Junk, it is our belief that an item of clothing need not be brand new, nor a painting's canvas pristine, to be beautiful.

In an effort to be more sustainable, Fleur De Junk uses upcycled canvases to make paintings. Stephanie, the owner and artist of Fleur de Junk, finds old paintings at the Salvation Army, Goodwill, and other stores, and paints over them. She turns old, "ugly" items into something more beautiful and new, protecting the environment from garbage, and giving each item a new purpose.

After Stephanie was diagnosed with breast cancer, she started making art on worn canvases. Like an upcycled canvas, she wanted to feel more beautiful herself. Although painting started as a hobby to expel her negative energy, it evolved into a therapeutic way of transforming "ugly" to "beautiful," positively affecting her self-esteem and self-image. Stephanie strives to protect the environment, and make the world beautiful while at it. Her work lets Fleur De Junk sell clothing and art that is environmentally conscious. It is our continued effort to spread more upcycled and recycled clothing, and to make beauty more sustainable!
